You know you are in a long distance relationship when you are 'single' but not available.
You know you are ready for it when you decided to give it a try though you have been told many times that LDR don't work (and you even experienced it once yourself)..
You know you are missing him a lot when you are calling him fifteen minutes before his morning alarm rings.. just because you want to spend more time talking with him before he goes to work.
You know he is sweet when his voice sounds sooooo sleepy but he said it's alright and asked you if everything is ok. Sacrificing fifteen minutes of sleeping time on a working day is definitely not easy.
You know you are in love with him when you feel like posting up his travelling photo on your personal blog for no reason..
Well the hardest part I find in an LDR is actually NOT the distance but the time difference. At the moment I'm 7 hours ahead of him.. which means when I wake up, he's sleeping; when he wakes up, I'm at work; when I come home, he's at work and when he finally gets home, I'm already in the bed.. Yeah it can be very difficult sometimes but it's NOT IMPOSSIBLE. We are handling it pretty well so far with either one of us sacrificing a little bit from time to time. One of you would just have to stay up later, or wake up earlier.. I'm usually the one staying up late.
The occasional Skype sessions and late night chats are good enough to keep us a happy couple..
There are those time when I behave like some unreasonable kid throwing my tantrum at him but he has never failed to listen to all the things I have to complain and make me smile again by the end of the conversation. :)
And I have witnessed a couple who went through 5 or 6 YEARS of LDR and finally they are going to tie the knot by end of this year! I AM SO HAPPY FOR THEM! Can't wait to attend their wedding :) Super excited already since it's going to be my first friend's wedding and one of the most anticipated ones, to be frank..
Early congratulations :D
