For the past five years, I've seen many, and learnt a lot. Being a foreigner here in this country, I'd had a hard time blending into this homogeneous society. Frankly speaking, the times when I feel I don't belong here definitely outweigh those times when I feel I'm welcomed. The only time when I feel the sense of belonging is when I hang out with my own circle of friends (mostly Malaysian) where everyone is so warm and real... You just know they're not fake.
Had had enough of the Koreans' pride and egoism- the way they always think so highly of themselves.. Since things are already coming to an end for me, I do not wish to elaborate any further on this point. Let it be a nice ending, shall we?
I'm not saying I haven't liked Korea at all for the past five years... It has been good. Seriously.. There were many good times which I'll definitely miss, good food that I'm sure I can't get it anywhere else except Korea (haha..), and people that I hope to keep in touch with, for I have no idea when will be the next time we'll see again.... but then again, these things don't just happen like that. It comes with efforts from both sides, agree? :)
Enough said. So how should I spend my last night in this lil hometown of mine in Korea...? hmmmph..
